“Intergenerational Talks” by Bülent Eczacıbaşı and the new generation of Eczacıbaşı employees! 

For the latest issue of the Eczacıbaşı Life Magazine, Eczacıbaşı Holding Chairperson Bülent Eczacıbaşı enjoyed a friendly chat with two young employees of the Group. While Eczacıbaşı picked the youth’s brains on a variety of topics, Eczacıbaşı Consumer Goods Production Specialist Beyza Demir and Eczacıbaşı Building Products Category Finance Assistant Specialist Hasan Can Taşçı relished the opportunity to listen to Bülent Eczacıbaşı relate the highlights of the Group’s history of 80 years. The new generation of Eczacıbaşı employees were eager to learn about certain developments and turning points during the Group’s long history and Eczacıbaşı asked the youth to share their feelings about being part of such an established corporation. Enriched with Eczacıbaşı’s book recommendations and messages to the youth, the interview also contains candid sharings by Demir and Taşçı about how it feels to be working for the Eczacıbaşı Group.

Atalay Gümrah elaborates on what to expect from our 80th year 

The Group CEO Atalay Gümrah talks about the Group’s investments, goals and vision for the future in the latest issue of Life. Gümrah shares that as a global organization present in four continents through 46 companies and 39 production plants providing access to more than 120 markets around the world, the Eczacıbaşı Group’s goal for 2022 is to realize an investment of over 250 million Euros in various lines of business.

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit earns a championship title befitting the Group’s 80th anniversary 

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit became the winner of the CEV Cup on the Group’s 80th anniversary. This championship title also marks the 80th cup the team has won in its lifetime. Eczacıbaşı Sports Club President Faruk Eczacıbaşı shared that the championship title was fully deserved by the team and that with the addition of this latest European Cup, they would continue to raise the bar. Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Head Coach Ferhat Akbaş expressed the team’s increased happiness for receiving the CEV Cup as the first championship title of the season. The co-captain Simge Aköz said “We had made a promise to win this cup and we are very happy to have accomplished it. This cup means a lot not just to us but to all women in Turkey.”

The youth hold a special place for Eczacıbaşı

One of the biggest surprises of the celebratory program designed in honor of the 80th anniversary is the Youth Ticket project  which aims to provide the youth with improved access to culture and the arts. Thanks to tickets offered by the Project at 10 TRY to all İKSV events, 25 thousand young people will find their way into a participatory life through a more artistic route. As the architects of the Project, Eczacıbaşı Holding Corporate Communications Director İlkay Yıldırım Akalın, İstanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) General Manager Görgün Taner and Rafineri Advertising Agency Co-Founder and Creative Director Ayşe Bali talked us through the intense and meticulous process underlying the creation of the project and its projected scope. The article also features comments shared by Turkey’s prominent figures and young individuals about the role of İKSV in their lives.

İKSV Celebrates 50th Anniversary 

One of the first institutions to come to mind in relation  to culture and arts in Turkey, İKSV is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022. For half a century, İKSV has touched the lives of millions of people and been instrumental in the creation of some indelible memories. This year, a very special program of events has been put together to celebrate this auspicious anniversary.  Eczacıbaşı Holding Chairperson Bülent Eczacıbaşı comments on the important role played by İKSV in the country’s cultural and artistic life and shares the Foundation’s plans for the future. İKSV General Manager Görgün Taner talks about İKSV’s plans to focus more intensely on social projects in its 50th year. İKSV’s goal is contribute around 15 million TRY to culture and arts through various means of support, incentives and awards.
