The Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) has announced the names of the first 1000 university students to win İKSV Culture&Art Cards, a new project with the support of the Eczacıbaşı Group, its main sponsor, to make culture and art events more accessible to young people. Through this project, Eczacıbaşı is giving 1000 İKSV Culture&Art Cards with TL250 of credit towards admission to any İKSV event during the year to 1000 university students between the ages of 18 and 25.

website and received 64,711 applications from students in 91 provinces in just three short weeks.
The Eczacıbaşı Group is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2017, and as İKSV’s main sponsor will continue to support the expansion of the İKSV Culture&Art Card project in the years ahead. Three recipients of the İKSV Culture&Art Card meet with Bülent Eczacıbaşı
Bülent Eczacıbaşı, Chairman of both the Eczacıbaşı Group and the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, presented the İKSV Culture&Art Card to three lucky students.
Atılgan Nalıncıoğlu, a first-year student of Business Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, Melisa Akgül, a first-year student of Tourism Management at Boğaziçi University, and Berna Mert, a second-year student of Management Information Systems at Boğaziçi University had a short conversation with Bülent Eczacıbaşı as they received their cards.
All three students shared a particular interest in music and were thrilled to receive their İKSV Culture&Art Cards. During the meeting, they expressed their hope that the project would continue to keep grow in the years ahead to give more young people access to culture and the arts. Between 23 January and 11 February, 64,711 students from 173 of the 183 universities in Turkey applied for the İKSV Culture&Art Card on the project’s binuniversiteliaraniyor.com website. 683 of the lucky students, who were drawn randomly from the list of successful applicants, were from Istanbul and the remaining 317 from other cities.
